The Problem And Thinking Of Development Of Current Chinese Modern A Cappella Team

From the early era of Gregorian chant to the present, vocal arts have been developing to many new forms through thousands of years. In recent years, the appearance and development of modern A cappella shows the world the limitless possibilities of human voice. Since China’s first A cappella group-Tadpoles appeared, mainland China’s modern A cappella music has gone through 15 years.Based on the author’s own experience and sufficient investigation, this paper analyzes and generalizes the current situation of China’s modern A cappella. With those findings and necessary thinking, this paper is committed to offering theoretical basis of team building and team development to China’s A cappella groups, so as to help promote A cappella music in China.This paper starts from the origin and spread of A cappella, exploring its localization process in mainland China, and thus alluding the conclusion that the development and the appearance of "Made in China" A Capella has some inevitable connections with the world’s spread and development of A cappella.Secondly, this paper indicates the existing obstacles and problems standing in the path forward of China’s modern A cappella, from different aspects:group structure, growing history, communication platforms and local differences.Thirdly, giving that modern A cappella chorus is different from tradition chorus music, contemporary pop music in music form, content, overall structure and investment, this paper illustrates the uniqueness of modern A Capella.Finally, revealing the reality of mainland China’s A cappella overall atmosphere, commercial operations, track selection, storage, stage performance and studio records, this paper further discusses the problems and solutions referring to run a good A cappella group.The ending part concludes the findings and solutions along with author’s personal opinions about "A capella" and "China’s current situation"...
