The Survey On The Reform Of The Movie System On The Mainland In The New Age

From the end of 1970s to now, the whole Chinese society has been transforming from the planned economy system to the market economy system, pacing to democratic politics and legal system. Meanwhile, the social spirit and amusement consumption have been diversified. During these years, Chinese movie system of production, issue and show have changed from the planned system to the market system yet. However, the planned power and the market power have played a game of go chess in that process. This dissertation splits into four parts.The first part, introduction. This part explains briefly the research method of political economy and social sciences which used in the article, and abstracts the key mode of the Chinese movie reform. Furthermore, the introduction surveys the reform road of the Chinese movie over 20 years briefly and clear.The second part focuses on the Chinese movie system which was in the highly planned system from 1978 to 1992.During that time, Chinese movie last the mode of planned production. The pictures were all purchased by china film group corporation, being sold unified ,and local unit organize people to appreciate the film.Meanwhile, some improvements were adopted, such as settling accounts with film copy .increasing the price of one copy, floating ticket price limited, changing the distribution of profit and transferring the movie into Broadcast and TV ministry which failed.The third part focuses on Chinese movie moving from complete planned system to double track of half planned and half market system from 1993 . The planned inertia in the movie was considerably strong in that period. So the reform fled it's way in the darkness. There were not only some conflict but also some compromise, tangle and repetition. However, the movie reform lagged behind the reform of the second industry and the third industry much more on account of the special ideology of movie itself. In fact, both the planned power and the market power had effect on disposing the movie resources. Nevertheless, the influence of the planned power was more obvious.The fourth part focuses on the total innovation of the movie system when the market power is strong enough in 21th.The gradual reform of Chinese movie came to the crossroad after seven or eight years in 2001.The obvious increase of market power and the good surrounding for movie help to bring about that the administering authority affirmed the result of movie industry, and the system innovation of Chinese movie come to a highlight.
