Chinese media industry market atmosphere becomes more dense.Television documentary in the pursuit of art, ideas, while graduallyemphasis on market operations and profit. Represented by television andgroup company of state-owned producer has rich resources. A limited numberof large private documentary companies have good momentum of development.Many small and medium-sized private documentary companies fend forthemselves. Part of the documentary production team and individual freesthe television system inside and outside. Nowadays production mode ofproducer still has certain problem. Television documentary market isstill in the stage of development and immature. Clarify issues relatedto the mode of production, is advantageous to the producer in a more clearand flexible way through production activities into the documentarymarket, promoting documentary industry more and more mature.To explore existing problems in the production mode of documentarytelevision, and the future development of production mode, this articlefirst reviews the production development history and producer evolution,and then analyzes the production process and different producer behavior.By comparing differences to analysis production mode difference causedby the industry problems and reasons, and then discusses the futuredevelopment of production mode.The full text is divided into five parts: in introduction part, theproduction mode is defined. The first chapter combed the televisiondocumentary production development and producer evolution, and thecomparative analysis of various producers. Chapter ii discusses fourtypes of production process and three different producer behaviors. Thethird chapter first analysis the causes of different production mode, andthen explore the production mode difference influence on the industrychain and industry cluster. The fourth chapter is based on the aboveproblems and causes analysis, the development of production mode to make countermeasures and thinking in the future.This paper argues that the folk producer and state-owned producerbetween cooperation and competition, exclusion and demand relationship,would still maintain quite a long time, the adaptation of the two willdrive television documentary production mode adjustment even of theindustry. Nowadays television documentary production mode is the need toreform, should be more open and autonomous. Break the television system,manufacture and broadcast system boundaries, avoid system inside andoutside the power rent-seeking, Based on the history and present situation,the reform needs a certain amount of time and opportunity.
