This paper takes Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare drama images’ comparision asthe research object, based on ip-depth study of drama texts, numerous images of TangXianzu and Shakespeare in the drama will be used as classification comparision so asto explore the literature value, and give a relatively accurate and objective positioning.This paper consists of introduction, main body and conclusion. The introductionmainly discusses the theoretical significance of this project, determines the researchobject, combing the research status,explans the research ideas, viewpoints, methods,innovation points and deficiencies. The main body is divided into three chapters.Chapter one mainly talks from the two groups of images:"garden-forest"and"emptycourt, wild-wasteland, barren island". In comparison, discusses the same anddifferent features and functions of the natural scene images of Tang Xianzu andShakespeare’s dramas. Chapter two takes "hairpin-ring" images and "mirror"images as the breakthrough point, discusses the same and different features andfunctions of the life images of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare’s dramas. Chapter threetakes the "ghost" images and the "dream" images as the foothold, discusses the sameand different features and functions of the metal images of Tang Xianzu andShakespeare’s dramas. The conclusion analysis the future researches of Tang Xianzuand Shakespeare’s drama images and its important role in the history of literature.This topic research based on the texts of Tang Xianzu’s four legends andShakespeare’s thirty-seven plays, unite the macro control and micro-analysis, take testanalysis, parallel studies, comparative study, culture interpretation as the main content,take the history, literature, folklore and other research methods as the auxiliary, toform a general description of Tang Xianzu and Shakespeare’s drama images.
