recent years saw a surge of the history of heat in domestic, historical documentary emerged like the bamboo shoots after a spring rain. Due to various reasons, the narration of the history of the war that Chinese resist against Japanese was one-sided, mainly concentrated in The Communist Party of China Anti Japanese base areas behind enemy lines and anti-Japanese national united front and so on. But about the national war of resistance lack a comprehensive description.Since2004, Phoenix Satellite TV set up a lot of historical documentary programs, like’eyeshot of Phoenix’,’oral history’,’changes of life’ and so on. In these programs, the documentary about the War of Resistance against Japan manifest not understand subject, to save the nation’s historical memory.This paper by discussing the historical documentary performance of the Phoenix TV the difference on exploring content, to conclude the difference between mainland and Phoenix Satellite TV. This paper also do the research on these documentary’s narrative style, narrative method, narrative strategies, with specific examples to analyze, to discuss the narrative art.
