Every religion has its doctrine, its organization, its role-model, and also influencing thesociety and the thoughts, behavior and psychology of the citizen in that society. It is thecommon pursuit of the society that people all wish have a happy life, even that lookingforward to happiness of the next life. While, as to the believer of tibetan buddhism tantra, theprimary goal and real pursuit is to surpass the happiness of the current and the next life andbecome buddist.This paper, consisting of four parts, introduces the religious philosophy to attainBuddhahood of Duo Jie Jue Ba, who is a representive of the modern gelug sect of tibetanbuddhism. It tries to explore and interpret the essence of his thoughts. Master holds that tobecome buddist the one should follow the doctrine of buddism to do no wrong, persue thegood, become a buddhist,and keep bodhisattva. The believer should respect and follow theteachings of Buddha Tsonghapa, who is founder of gelug sect of tibetan buddhism, to practiceto ’Du Ji’ and ’Du Ren’ and finally become buddist.The constructure and the main contents asfollows:The forword makes a brife introduce to the relation between Special Issue of SouthwestPeace Ceremony and Duo Jie Jue Ba, topic selection basis and the current situation ofresearch.The first part brifly introduces the life story of Duo Jie Jue Ba.The second part introduces the name and signification of the four noble trusts. Duo JieJue Ba passes on the thoughts of Buddhism with his own understanding. Besides, Duo Jie JueBa carries the thoughts of Buddha Tsonghapa to the majority and puts forward his own ideas.The breaking of two kinds of insistence, which is a breakthrough of the medium theory, andexplantation of ‘Kong’ in the order from Shenwen, pratyeka to bodhisattva, are put forwardon the basis of ‘Jiu Cheng Pan Jiao’ of Ningrna sect. And then Duo Jie Jue Ba introduces the way to become buddha by the sequence of ‘An Le Dao, Jie Tuo Dao, and Pu Ti Dao’.The thrid part interprets how becoming buddist and keeping bodhisattva.According toteachings of Buddha Tsonghapa, Duo Jie Jue Ba pointed out that if one wants to becomebuddha he must have the mind for Bod-hi, which is the psychological element of becomingbuddha. And the next is to put that mind of bod hi into practice to achieve the highest state ofBodhisattva, which is the highest state of the mind of the buddha in Buddhism. Wanting tocultivate oneself to be buddha, one must practice Dharma, especially esoteric doctrines. Theone and only way to become buddha is to follow the doctrine of buddha, dharma and kangha.The fourth part makes an analysis some practice methods. He put the doctrine intopractice.Duo Jie Jue Ba succeeds the mystique of Buddhism to achieve the highest state ofpersonality from the sequence of ‘Xia Shidao, Zhong Shidao to Shang Shidao’. Besides, heputs forward three ways of becoming Buddhist, which are named ‘Chu li xin, Pu ti xin andWu er hui’. All these will leads to the highest state that is harmony between man and nature.The conclusion part makes an statement of the status of Special Issue of Southwest PeaceCeremony and Duo Jie Jue Ba in tibetan buddism from the perspective of religion andphilosophy. The way of becoming buddist put forward by Duo Jie Jue Ba acts as philosophymethodology, which can work as a compass in the way cultivating oneself according to thereligious doctrine avoiding being possessed by the Devil, just as some kind of methodology inphilosophy. Just as Duo Jie Jue Ba said that the best master is yourself, I can release you,whether can you be Buddha depend on yourself. Just as buddha said that the best teacher isyouself, and what i do is to show the method of becoming buddist, while whether you canbecome buddist all depends on youself.
