Xiao Feng, the hero in Louis Cha’s martial arts fiction "Demi-Gods andSemi-Devils", is the most eminent figure of Louis Cha’s martial arts fictions. This thesis is divided into three chapters which mainly contains two aspects to analyzethis image.Firstly, as an ideal character in the fiction, Xiao Feng is discussed into three aspects andthat is his “tremendous power”“great capacity for liquor” as well as “benevolence andrighteousness”. Each aspect is also divided into several small parts. Therefore the analysisproves that Xiao Feng is a rarely ideal figure in Louis Cha’s martial arts world.Secondly, heroes shed no tears. Xiao Feng’s love story is a tragedy. The entanglementof Ah Zhu’s love and KangMin’s hatred of Xiao Feng brings him with physical and mentalnegative effects, which reveals the unspeakable torture-emotional problems of this invinciblehero. Finally, Xiao Feng is bound up in fetters of traditional culture--analyze his tragic fate incultural respect. To reveal the source of his tragic fate, Han chauvinism of its revenge cultureand two different nations’ opposition cultures were explained in this thesis. At last, according to the research of Xiao Feng’s death, the thesis discusses XiaoFeng’s status among Louis Cha’s knight figures in his fictions and multilayered significanceembodied in his death.
