Speaking Of Tragic Hero From The "historical Records" Off The Ground The Body To Defeat

The Record of the Historian is the first Chinese historical biographical work through the ancient and modern history.It is a historical masterpiece drawing much attention of scholars. Due to his special bittery experience,Sima qian paid more attention to the great tragic figures and sighed with more emotion than ordinary historians.He creats a large number of heroes vividly.Interpretation of these figures,even though from a literary perspective,we can also find some essence of the Record of the Historian and Sima qian.Besides introduction and conclusion,this thesis mainly consists of four parts:The introduction reviews the former studies on the masterpiece.Since the publication of" the Record of the Historian ",many studies are carried out,such as ancient notes,evaluations, and art studies of it.Since the twenty-first century,scholars have expanded the study of" the Record of the Historian " to a more comprehensive study.Recent literary studies has made some great achievements.This thesis aims to explore the reason of the tragic figures by analyzing the images and the plot of "the Record of the Historian"In Part One,images of the tragic figures are outlined and standard definition of the tragic hero are given with the characteristics.In Part Two,The characters are divided into four categories,that is,heroes given up by the mean rulers;heroes with defective personality of being too stubborn and upright;heroes framed up by treacherous characters and folly King,and heroes as victims of political strife.Each category covers several characters.Analysis of the reasons for their destruction are made.In Part Three,historical reason of the heroes'destruction is analyzed.All human activity with the objective purpose is in paradox with the established social order.In other words, centralized feudal despotism denies the value of individuals.Absolute monarchy becomes the principal of individual will and the serious constraints to human's conscious activity.That causes the fact that realistic environment destructs the value of human life.The inherent principle of "Antinomy" in historical development is the real reason for the destruction.In Part Four,as a brilliant historian,Sima qian expressed great pity to the tragic heroes. His immortal work created a lot of famous heroes.Based on similar sufferings with the heroes, Si Maqian shaped the heroes successfully with great sympathy and resonance.
