Self-congruence is one of hot topics in psychological health. Based on thesummarization of the relative researches, this study explored the effect of life meaning andresiliency on self-congruence. For enriching the researches on life meaning, resiliency,self-congruence and extending the theory and data support for college educators, this studyconducted a survey of Medical College Students’ life meaning, resiliency andself-congruence.Using chester sampling,700students from Cangzhou Medical College and CangzhouTechnical College were surveyed with the Purpose In Life Test(PIL), Resiliency scale foruniversity student and Self Consistency and Congruence Scale (SCCS). It analyzed thesituation and characteristics of medical college students’life meaning, resiliency,self-congruence and the relations between them. The data were analyzed by SPSS19.0. Themain conclusions are as follows:1. The overall level of life meaning, resilience and self-congruence of medical collegestudents are higher than non medical college students.2. The level of life meaning of medical college students is lower, and there is a significantdifferenc in gender, grade, professional and whether he\she is a class carde.3. The level of Medical college studentsˊresiliency is higher and there is a significantdifference in gender, grade, whether the only-child, whether as a class carde.4. The level of Medical college studentsˊself-congruence is higher and there is asignificant difference in gender, grade, whether the only-child.5. There is negative correlation between life meaning and self-congruence. There ispositive correlation between life meaning and resiliency, resiliency and self-congruence.6. Both life meaning and resiliency have an effect on self-congruence, and resiliencypartially mediated the relationship between life meaning and self-congruence.
