Yongging located in Loess Plateau in Gansu Province in the southwest direction,70km from the provincial capital Lanzhou. The city lives up to his reputation as "the Jiangnan of Longnan". The climate here is very dry, it is where the Yellow River and the Tao River flow together, and there is a unique Danxia landform. Yongjing located next to Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture and Qinghai Province, its unique location provides convenience for the communications between Yongjing Nuo culture and the other religious cultures. The city has rich Nuo cultural activities; many local religions were tolerated and absorbed here in Yongjing. The fine Bingling temple grotto art, abundant fossils, and the colorful pottery artifacts create a good cultural environment and favorable conditions for the emergence and development of Nuo culture in Yongjing. Most Minorities in Yongjing believe in Islam and Buddhism, the religious cultures have gradually blended. The growing population of people with different surnames from the Central Plains has made some mutual influences between Confucian culture, Taoism, metaphysics, Shaman culture, and the local native Qiang customs; all of the above comprehensive factors have resulted in a very unique Yongjing Nuo culture. The Nuo culture of Yongjing is constantly evolving and changing, Nuo funeral has been gradually evolved with the penetration of the local customs, Buddhism, Taoism and the other religions. The unity of Buddhist and Taoist is a phenomenon we see a lot in the performance of Nuo funeral. Yongjing Nuo opera, Nuo funeral stage art:1. Performance site;2. Character modeling;3.
