The thesis is based on the materials excavated in Caiyuan and Changshan site,Defining the characteristic of the Lower Changshan Culture, and making a preliminarystudy about the Staging and period.The thesis can be divided into five periods.Firstly,recalling the history of discovery and research on the remains of the Lower ChangshanCultureExplaining the purpose of this article and generalizing the culturalfeatures.Secondly,summarizing the Lower Changshan Culture.Regarding The LowerChangshan remains as a breakthrough, Defining the characteristic of the LowerChangshan Culture,Making a generalization about the range of remains.Dividing theremains of the lower Changshan Culture into separate parts Understanding therelationship between the two sites,and then setting up a standard,so as to finish thedividing of the Lower Changshan remains.And then, the thesis will attempt to make aresearch on the trends thatearthenware’s change.
