The modern lacquer painting is derived from ancient accomplishment. Is theIntegration of the traditional Chinese painting culture and modernisticcivilization. The key of developing modern lacquer painting is to research thedevelopment of aesthetics. The three principal parts of traditional Chinese cultureare the Confucianism, the Taoism, and the Buddhism. These three ideasrepresented differently in art and accomplished basic aesthetics of Chineseculture.That is the dominance of Chinese aesthetics. The culminating perspective oftraditional Chinese philosophy stimulate these three ideas have a common ground,that means the art creation must present some macrocosms. It is a part of theculture. The huge influential of social ideas communication causes the dramaticdifferentiation of aesthetics culture, then lead to the pure aesthetics and thecommercial aesthetics. To present the charm of nation aesthetics is an effectivemethod for modern lacquer painting. The features of materials motivate theartistry since the very beginning of art. The traditional lacquer created thecharacteristic of mellow, mysterious, and magnificent, also shows the uniquethinking of Chinese people, which forms the diversity of Chinese lacquerpainting. Practicing the technics of traditional lacquer and understanding themodern materials can be both achieved when creating a lacquer painting.The purpose of breaking down and summing up the creation, analyzing theroots of creating spirit and aesthetics development, discussing the materials andtechnics, is to consummate modern lacquer language system, to build their owncreation system and standard of aesthetics.
