Research on Lacquer ware design and making based on Chu-Han lacquer craft Lacquer ware in Chu-Han period was mostly used in daily life. This paper studied it again by means of literature research and comprehensive analysis.As a whole,Chu-Han lacquer ware involved Fetus process and finishing process.It has simple and humble style with obviously handmade signs and painted red and black with plain and elegant carved fine lines.The craft in Lacquer ware in Chu-Han period was studied and experiment. The app-lication of case analysis processed by Chu-Han lacquer craft indicated that wood was pre-ferred for the contemporary lacquer fetal bone as it could use mechanical processing and r-ealize the mass production to meet the needs of a large number of daily lacquer; Clip Zhu fetal fetal bone was thin with light body and send out natural luster, suitable for complex modelling and for lacquer ware products with exquisite craft; Tao tire was heavier and w-aterproof and moistureproof, suitable for storing and those not often moving. Painting tech-nology was suitable for application in the fruit b-owl, dish, etc.Heap paint process was sui-table for use in all kinds of life utensil; Carved lacquer process was suitable for appliances with high-frequency use, such as condiment or tea containers; Peak gold technology was suitable for fine, delicate make-up boxes. These were results which contemporary lacquer inherited lacquer craft and innovated in practice. On the basis of this,this paper tried to co-mbine Chu-Han craft with mass production of lacquer Fetus to achieve the production of small quantities lacquer.After analyzing the modern lacquer ware,this paper put forward that the design should meet the needs of modern life,the structure should be easily painted and the decoration should adopt Chu-Han motifs with traditional black and red color. Its making process should embody the texture of traditional Chu-Han craft. Final-ly the author designed the coffee cup and cartons which provided a reference for the combination of the Chu-Han lacquer craft with modern design.
