The Study On The Dialect Phonetic System Of Pingshan Tuhua In Guilin

Ping-hua in Guangxi province is divided into the Guibei Pinghua and the Guinan Pinghua. The Guibei Pinghua has less similarity in pronounce than Guinan Pinghua, and there is no pla ce which can represent the Guibei Pinghua due to its lower degree of versatility. Recently, we still aim to describe the situation of the phonetic system of Guibei Ping and many dialect point s of it have yet to deal with. Therefore, it is highly valued to investigate all those dialect poin ts in Guibei Pinghua.This paper aims to study in Tuhua in Pingshan villiage in the district of Yanshan in Guili n (in short of Pingshan Tuhua) and introduce the Phonetic system of it on the basis of dialect investigation, we have attained the first-hand speech materials of Guibei Pinghua to show the p honetic features.This paper consists of four chapters:Introduction:It is introduced that ways and materials of Pinghua and the characters of the local pronounciators we surveyed.The first chapter:We have intoduced the resource and distribution of Pinghua. And its stud y achievements are presented briefly as well.The second chapter:the phonology of Pingshan. The1st section is the phonology of its ini tials, finals and tones; the2nd section is the summary of their features and then gain the match table of its initials, finals and tones and the homophone table.The third chapter:the synchronic and diachronic evolution of Pingshan Tuhua. The1st secti on is the comparison between Pinghua and Qieyun system of the medieval Chinese; the2nd sec tion is the one between Pinghua and Madarin. And the3rd secion is the argument of the attrib ution of Pinghua. We put forward our viewpoints in contrast of Xiang Dialect, Cantonese, Guib ei Pinghua.The last chapter:Conclusion. Pingshan Tuhua has more similarity with Guibei Pinghua tha n Xiang Dialect and Cantonese, hence we believe that Pingshan Tuhua should belong to the cla ssfication of Guibei Pinghua.
