The Phonetic Study Of Zhonghe Pinghua In Ningyuan County Of Hunan Province

This paper studies the phonetic features of Zhonghe Pinghua in Ningyuan county of Hunan province. We conclude the phonetic features of Zhonghe Pinghua by field research and contrast it with ancient and related dialects. At the same time, with some human and geological information, we analyze the relationship of Zhonghe Pinghua and Pinghua in other parts of Ningyuan county, as well as the relationship with Gan dialect, Xiang dialect, Guibei Pinghua and Xiangnan Tuhua. By the synthetic comparison, the paper regards Zhonghe Pinghua is more similar to Gan dialect.This paper can be divided into six parts.I.Generality: This part generally introduces Ningyuan county's location, population, historical turning and its language using. It also introduces Zhonghe town's location, population and language using, points out the effect of the research.II. Phonetic system. It describes the phonological system, collocation system, literary reading and colloquial reading and the tone sandhi of Zhonghe Pinghua.III. The comparison of Zhonghe Pinghua's phonological system with ancient Chinese. Through comparing with Guangyun, the author concludes the phonetic features of Zhonghe Pinghua.IV. Comparison of Zhonghe Pinghua and Pinghua in other regions and evolution of the former. On the basis of the comparison with other Pinghua in Ningyuan county and the different language characteristics of the young and old schools in Zhonghe town, the paper describes the change and features of Zhonghe Pinghua in the half century.V. Comparison of Zhonghe Pinghua and other related dialects such as Guibei Pinghua, Gan dialect, Xiang dialect and Xiangnan Tuhua to find their similarity and difference.VI. Rest. The rest of the paper points out that Ningyuan Pinghua has more relationship with Gan dialect.
