When the environmental pollution has become increasingly serious, ecologicalcrisis has been broken out wantonly and the natural environment inhabited by peoplehas continued to be deteriorated, human beings are expecting the solution of theseproblems, the revivification of the good ecological environment man ever dwelled andthe calling upon the arrival of the era of ecological civilization. People should solvethe problems of the confrontation relationship between man and nature initially whenfacing the era of ecological civilization. Some scholars argued that the antagonisticrelation between man and nature has been fundamentally generated by the socialdevelopment. We will realize, from the history of human civilization, each reform ofhuman civilization is always accompanied with the change of relationship betweenman and nature for the development of human society has consumed a lot of limitednatural resources. However, it is the man’s natural values rather than the socialdevelopment that becomes the primary cause of the antagonistic relation between manand nature. Therefore, we should turn our perspective to man’s natural values in thecourse of establishing the ecological civilization because man is the decisive force ofsocial development and the notion of human beings determines the methods anddirection of the development of the society. This thesis highlights the theoretical basis of the relationship between man andnature among the anthropocentrism values, the nature-centralism values and theecological Marxism values and its limitation on the development of ecologicalcivilization in the research of man’s natural values and its practice in the differentcivilization form. I put forward “Creating according to the law of aesthetics” is theworth choice of human beings on their way to the ecological civilization era throughelaborating the implication of Marks’ theory of “Man is also created according to thelaw of aesthetics”.
