Study On Puqi Wu’s Genealogy

Puqi is one of an important emigrant’s towns in the region of Hubei in history, in this district the households are numerous, most of which have a good tradition of revising family-tree, and keep it for a long time. The Puqi 《Wu’s genealogy》 was revised by Wu’s clansmen in1993, on the basis of collecting genealogical table of the clansmen in several districts, such as Puqi, Jiayu and Chongyang and so on. There is something wrong in researching materials and phrases of 《Wu’s genealogy》 more or less, but Wu’s household as a big family in Puqi district, the genealogy of which should have relatively representation because of its comparatively integrated pedigree heritage and relatively considerable integration.Repeatedly reading and sorting the genealogy, which was revised by Wu’s ancestors spending so much time and making great effort. This article attempts from those simple and plain text, to interpret and trying to find this answer:What kind of spiritual belief prompted them to revise genealogy, which was a magnificent undertaking in their eyes. Thus, this article will show a kind attitude of "the comprehension of pity, comprehension of sympathetic mood" in every research point, as far as possible from countless ties between the characters’(or biographical character) psychological and background inextricably linked in, to show a more vivid, diversified patriarchal clan.
