This essay is about the narrative of Chinese TV drama, due to immaturity of TV drama narrative theory, whether universal or depth is not independent molding system. Which is more important is that to have a strong narrative theory analysis can be maneuverability, even if the researcher dose not have high theoretical level, diligent work can also get a lot of data and make a conclusion,Fundamentally, a TV drama is to tell a story. But to tell a good story is not easy:a straightforward story, a story of depth and complexity of modern narrative sense has. In order to find a balance between the two, often hovering between eleganc and popular, mass and elite, stories and ethics, perhaps this is confusing narrative TV drama is also its charm.This paper selects the new century on the Cultural Revolution, one hundred and ten TV dramas as considerations text. Compared to other dramas, it’s very normality can circumvent many confounding factors to ensure the accuracy and validity of the data. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter discusses the theoretical basis of narrative TV drama, as well as the current research. In the second chapter the author uses Propp’s analysis, focused on four narrative modes. The third chapter is on the basis of the first two chapters, how the narrative changes were analyzed, discussed the revolutionary writing and film historian.
