Entering the new century, along with the development of media technology and theopening of people’s ideology, there is a cultural phenomenon of "Pan Entertainment". Theso-called "Pan entertainment", refers to a kind of cultural phenomenon, which is withconsumerism, hedonism as the core, with the modern media (television, theatre, film network,etc.) as the main carrier, with a thin content even with vulgar，funny, amusing ways andthrough the dramatic melodramatic performance to relax nervous people, so as to achieve apleasure. The current social culture "Pan Entertainment" lack rational and healthyentertainment concept, participants with its unique psychological and behavior lead to the"Pan entertainment" became the hot words. Entertainment deformity, vulgar content flooding,social morality falling and so on are the reflection and results of this deformity culture"PanEntertainment".This thesis consists of six parts: the first part is the introduction, elaborating the researchsignificance of” Pan entertainment phenomenon”, the domestic and foreign research presentsituation of this phenomenon, and the research objective and research method. The secondpart is the description to the “Pan Entertainment” phenomenon of the current social.Summarized the film and television works, words, advertising works, entertainment, mediaeditor, news programs, cultural programs and the real life eight aspects performance of "PanEntertainment". The third part make a further understanding to the phenomenon of "PanEntertainment”, with the method of dialectical analysis, expounded the adverse effect of thecurrent social culture: reducing the credibility of media and social responsibility, declining themass culture grade, damaging the physical and mental health of teenagers, being lack ofhumanistic care and hindering the healthy development of socialist cultural construction. Thefourth part expatiates the reasons of the current social culture "Pan entertainment "from thecultural factors, economic factors, technical factors and regulatory factors. The fifth part isabout "how" problem: elaborating the countermeasures to the current social culture "Panentertainment" phenomenon,through the study of the policy and the research results ofscholars in recent years to summarize the measures, including the principles, approaches andspecific behavior to ensure the healthy development of entertainment culture.
