In recent years, China’s criminal offense rate has increased steadily, to the modernization of our country caused huge economic losses, serious impact on the security and stability of society. Recidivism as a special type of crime is one of the main factors that pushed crime. Therefore, to fully understand recidivism personality characteristics and emotional changes, its targeted education reform and psychological treatment, good from the perspective of reducing recidivism prison work, is an important topic currently in prison work. Around this goal, we conducted three studies as follows:Study one, a study of imprisonment original records data2000subjects were classified statistical analysis. Re-offenders and first offenders compared differences in educational level, before catching occupation, type of crime, imprisonment, modus operandi, the prison performance, etc. The results show:first-time offenders and re-offers showed the trend of low culture of high crime, on the re-crime is concerned, illiteracy, a significant increase in primary school education. Released prisoners employment (including vocational skills and employment opportunities) factors for re-offenders is one to be reckoned with; recidivism type of property type and drug-related offenders increased; increase the proportion of gang crime and gang principal; and not sure there is a connection between the performance of offenders and recidivism.Study two, subjects were2010to2013in prison, violent, property type, drug-related crime re-type person, choose the same period of imprisonment, after the crime type and age-matched first-time offenders as a comparison object. The use of "Chinese Offender Psychological Assessment-Personality Inventory"(COPA-PI) for offenders to be tested. Using SPSS19.0two-factor analysis of variance showed that between there-offenders group and the first offender group in the following several have significant differences: internal and external tilt, emotional stability, with all the sex, impulsive, vindictive, a sense of trust, compassion, self-confidence heart, anxiety, intelligent nature, psychopathic tendencies, criminal thinking. Different types of crime have significant differences in emotional stability, with all the sex, impulsivity, aggression, sense of trust, of which the differences between violent and drug-related type most obvious. The aggression and trust factor, and there is no significant difference in the type of property and violent.Study three, from February2013to June, in succession to select qualified new jail criminals, according to the type of crime and crime paired group, n=120, totaling240subjects, for the first groups, the difference emotional changes when different types of crime and imprisonment for one year imprisonment after. Using SPSS19.0software for two-way ANOVA showed that:despite jail early, all the criminals of inferiority, depression, anxiety, compulsive, autonomy, self-sense and hypochondria crime are significantly deviated from the norm, but re-offenders whether it is the beginning of the group after one year’s imprisonment or imprisonment, emotional stability than the first offender group, mood changes significantly relative to no first-time offenders. The difference between the types of crime emotional state, mainly in depression, anxiety, autonomy, the performance ratio for violent and property type, drug-related type more anxiety and depression, drug-related type of mood the most stable. Property type often lack autonomy, vulnerable to the mercy of others.Finally, according to the findings presented prison education and psychological treatment strategies, and reflect on the shortcomings of this study from the perspective of research methods and design, put forward ideas for future research.
