Vietnam A Guanyin Bodhisattva

In India, the western regions, Japan, South Korea, especially in Vietnam and China particularly heavy avalokitesvara belief.Guan Yin is a bodhisattva in mahayana Buddhism. Its status greatly improved in Vietnam and it plays a very important place in popular religion. Guanyin belief is one of the most popular belief mahayana Buddhism field forms. This belief form in the development course of two thousand, and religion, philosophy, art, folk customs, ethics, literature and other cultural forms are intertwined, and influence each other, and constitute a heavy and complicated cultural phenomenon of religion. Both in history and today, guanyin belief in Buddhism theory system and practice system already occupies a very important position, also to the human society, especially in the aspects of human culture have a significant impact. So Guanyin bodhisattva should is a very important academic research field.This paper mainly discusses the guanyin bodhisattva in Buddhism classics, and introduce the buddhist goddess of mercy image, and then tell the origin of the guanyin and the change in the process of historical development. Then put forward the more people worship goddess of mercy in the object of study and the guanyin bodhisattva belief, in Vietnam the characteristics of popular religion. Finally describe guanyin bodhisattva belief famous Wu Chengsi the impact on the novel "Journey to the West".The first part is the introduction. The first chapter analyses the meaning of guanyin, and study the guanyin bodhisattva in Buddhism classics. The goddess of mercy, this part mainly summarized the buddhist classics analysis Buddhism focuses on classic about the classification of goddess of mercy, guanyin in the status of a classic height consistent, the functionality of guanyin in buddhist scriptures. Also two kinds of avalokitesvara in Vietnam are introduced, namely at the story of guanyin worship goddess of mercy, and legend as well as a historical figure was as the goddess of mercy.The second chapter talk about three content.The first point is about around each sect of Buddhism guanyin image. The second part introduced Chinese buddhist goddess of mercy image, description of buddhist classics of kannon and introduce Chinese goddess of mercy of the inner court appearance.The third part introduced the Vietnamese buddhist goddess of mercy image.In the third chapter, the Buddhism and guanyin belief propagation and development. This part includced the spread and development of Buddhism in the early and the guanyin belief in two parts.The fourth chapter is about guanyin bodhisattva impact on "Journey to the West". This part mainly described the guanyin belief of "Journey to the West".
