Viewing Art Forms And Cultural Characteristics Of"Huishan Clay Sculpture"

This article selects wuxi" Huishan Clay Sculpture" which has the characteristics of the southern as the research object,we are prepared systematically to study the artistic form and cultural characteristics of" Huishan Clay Sculpture " from the perspective of fine arts.First, this paper introduces the general situation of "Huishan Clay Sculpture ", it analyzes from four aspects, which are the historical origin, regional characteristics, main species and the situation of inheritance, the main production of material and process. Besides, the paper expounds the development of its art form and tries to focus on the analysis of the integration of art and the sublimation of esthetic.Then,we discuss its artistic features from four aspects, which are modeling,color, composition and grain by representative works. And further, this paper defines the artistic value of "Huishan Clay Sculpture" in the cultural, aesthetic and entertainment. Finally, it thinks deeply the cultural preservation and development orientation of "Huishan Clay Sculpture"from the development of status, problems, heritage, prospects and so on.This article focuses on theoretical aspects of arts and crafts, tries to analyse the aesthetic and cultural value of " Huishan Clay Sculpture", and appreciates the artistic charm and humanistic characteristics of folk sculptures.
