The Artistic Features And Historical Development Of Suzhou Mud Molding

clay plastic art is one of the earliest art forms in history,but its origin is difficult to be verified because of its hard-to-preserve characteristics.In many clay art,Suzhou clay sculpture has a long history of exquisite craftsmanship,but most people do not know.Suzhou clay plastic was listed on the expanded list of intangible cultural heritage in 2008.The relevant departments listed Suzhou clay plastic as the four largest clay sculptures in China.Suzhou clay sculpture was formally named as Suzhou clay plastic,and Suzhou clay plastic also got its due status.Suzhou clay sculpture after a long time in 2000,there are magnificent colors of large clay monastery,the existing Tang and Song famous many relics intact,such as Suzhou Dongshan Zijin Anluo Han image,the wall-plastic Luo-Han image in the temple of Suzhou,the Temple of the King of Kunshan,the statue of the king and the statue of the maid,etc.It also has a small,small,delicate,small-sized clay-plastic,with a wide variety of varieties and exquisite workmanship.This paper attempts to sum up the artistic characteristics of Huqiu's clay and clarify the development of history,and also try to explore the way of the revival of the mud in Suzhou,especially in the new society,through the methods of literature textual research,famous house interview and the same kind of comparison.
