Films Research Of LiYu

This thesis has closely read and analyzed the five films directed by Li Yu so far, and it has been divided into four parts to systematically and comprehensively analyze and discuss various aspects of Li Yu’s films. Her personal characteristics embodied in the films creation is focused on and we try to distill her unique, sophisticated personal style as a female director.The first chapter has focused on Li Yu’s personal life experiences and constantly rheological creative ideas, and their impact on her films. The second chapter has analyzed the relationships between the characters in her films, focusing on the special layout and function of the role of gender and intergenerational in her film works. From Li Yu’s last five works, the third chapter has focuses on the analysis of her rheological and continuation image style, her unique personalized aesthetic style, as well as the special films imagery meaning scattered in them. The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the relationship between Li Yu’s films and marketing; The conclusion part has analyzed her location between feminist director and author director, and shortcomings in her films.
