For a country that deported the most number of Japanese, there existed complicated elements concerning the Peru’s history, economy, politics and diplomacy. Through the analysis of the backgroundã€process and the pro-war arrangement of these Japanese, this paper exposes the reasons for this incident lies in the racial discrimination and economic envy and hate for Japanese that had long existed in Peru’s society. The Peruvian Government played an important role in its making use of the United States for the elimination of Japanese. The United States also undoubtedly stimulated this incident. On the other hand, the gap that had long existed between Peruvian-Japanese and Peru’s domestic society and the aggressive policies adopted by the Japanese Government also played passive part in the happening of this deportation incident. The deportation incident is an infamous period in Peru’s history which brought irreparable economic and mental loss to the Peruvian-Japanese.
