Symbol, a medium of communication. Not only is the product of human rationalthinking, but also the emotional expression. Symbolic presence in today’s society is theinevitable product created by. As a basic discipline of semiotics, in all aspects affecting thedevelopment of people’s thinking and human creativity. It is a way of thinking, but also amethodology. Is an integral part of the development of human society.Meaning of the symbol is that it embodies the essence. In this sense as a symbol tobring the contents of a human interpretation of the results of objective reality, that is thesubject of an indicator symbolize. Media Arts is a senior intelligence activities of the humanspirit communication, to achieve an effective transfer of information, so the media art itselfis symbolic of the process. Compared to other symbols, sign language is more emotional, isa concentrated expression of diverse art forms and performance practices. For those whoonly had a functional design activities can not meet people’s spiritual needs, emotionalawareness, sense of passing to become the core of the design.Based on semiotics and visual arts, new media art information and documentationsystems in the field of visual symbols to convey and so do constitute a consolidation analysisto explore the formation and application of symbolic thinking. Reveals the symbolicsignificance of the design work.From the perspective of semiotics, the study of media and visual arts, effective analysisof television advertising media or dissemination of design symbols. Hope for the futuredesign activities have some significance.
