Mix media, which research areas were mainly on the relationship between the people' s living space and visual space and the relationship between the visual manner visual shape and expression form, was an art form of post-modern art. There were variety of symbols and symbol systems in the mix media. The external forms of the symbols and overall emotional and cultural connotations hidden behind the symbols could be sensed by the art symbols used in it. So the semiotics could be found in the mix media everywhere.The Semiotics is a symbol or symbols on language learning. Its main contents are: the nature of symbols, the variation law of symbols, the meaning of symbols and the use of symbols. From the perspective of semiotics, the Mix media could be understood as the following viewpoints. 1,The art symbols used in the Mix media were a cultural symbol carriers, including people's cultural attitudes, thinking and values. The cultural connotations were expressed when these symbols used. 2,The art objects used in the Mix media could be seen as a symbol, which were the structure of symbols composed by the rules. 3,The practice objects used in the Mix media were a kind of dynamic presence of the art symbols, which were given a typical representation of the physical symbol of semantics to express infinite justice. Thus, under the guidance of the semiotics, Mix media has been given new life.According to these study approaches, this article will use the semiotics theory in the Mix media further. Based on the framework and research level of the symbols, expressions of Mix media symbols will be discussed combination with the contemporary works. At last, some works of Mix media are installed, which will present different meaning of symbols.
