Application Of Environmental Psychology At The University Campus Landscape Design

The late1990s, China implemented a college enrollment policy, a large number of our students have the opportunity to walk the halls of the University of higher education, due to the large increase in the number of students, school size to the urgent need to expand. University Campus Environmental Design as a new subject of landscape design, is that more people are concerned. And now, the school environment in which the overwhelming majority of landscape design follows the design principles of urban public space in the landscape, the lack of targeted theory. This paper is from the audience crowd starting university campus environment, the results of theoretical studies of environmental psychology applied to the university campus landscape design, landscape makes the teachers and students of psychology and campus coordination, balance and penetration, and stressed people and environmental harmony and unity design.Environmental psychology as a new field of psychology, and how to integrate into the campus landscape design, this is a new problem facing designers. The researchers put people on environmental awareness into two kinds of perceptual and rational knowledge, and perceptions mainly refers to psychological factors. As teachers and students of the university campus activities, landscape design as a place of content, all this is for the teachers and students services. And there is awareness of the psychological needs of teachers and students to understand, to the attitude of empathy, attention to psychological changes of teachers and students in different environments, it is very important to the university campus landscape design.Based on the concepts and theories of environmental psychology research and exploration, leads to the university campus landscape design features and principles, which further discusses the psychology of thinking about the environment at the university campus landscape design.
