Gesaer In Poetry Of Historical Significance KANG DEGE

Dege is one of the places where the culture of Gesar is rich. It is not only the birth place of Gesar, but also the origin of the world longest epic of Gesar. Gesar Culture in Dege has irreplaceable significance in Gesarology which can enlarge its research area and improve its system. This thesis sorts out Dege Gesar Culture data on the basis of field work of cultural anthropology and points out the definition, the reason of formation, cultural characteristics, academic value and social function on the basis of theory and research method of cultural anthropology, folklore, epicology and Gesarology. The paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter introduces the geographic place and historical background of Kang district and Dege country. In this chapter the ruling of Lincong Tusi and Dege Tusi and its influence to Gesar Culture is stated and points out the structure of Gesar culture in Dege district. The second chapter clears up speading of the different Gesar edition around this place and points out the characteristics and value. In this chapter Gesar rapping artists in the history and current society and their features are also introduced. The third chapter introduces the Gesar sites, legends and stories and analyzes their features and functions. The fourth chapter analyzes the forming reason and the existing pattern of the Gesar belief in Dege county and discusses the Gesar belief ritual, features and its functions. The fifth chapter introduces the spread of the Gesar cultural industry and its realistic meaning. It mainly discusses how to develop and how to protect and inhere the traditional culture and cultural industry in Dege.
