This thesis is about Fengyang guard eunuch’s research, it mainly discusses the time and reason of its settlement, the configuration of staff, appointed agency, the place of office, promotion and transfer; discusses the function and evolution, researches the influence on the Fengyang society; and the connection with eunuch’s system in Ming dynasty.According to existing historical data, Fengyang guard eunuch appeared in September of Chenghua8years to February of Chenghua9years. The first eunuch was GaoLian.Fengyang guard eunuch, the names could be found were about twenty-four people, appointed agency were Si Lijan, Nei Guanjian, Yu Majian,Shen Gongjian etc. official rank was the fourth rank, the average tenure lasted six years. After expired, promoted to Nanjing guard eunuch was an important promotion route."Dong Gongguan"became Fengyang guard eunuch’s office in late Ming dynasty.The initially aim of Fengyang guard eunuch was to relive the famine, from the Chenghua9years, it became a permanent office. Their function was looked after the imperial tomb, Supervised imperial city, handed the keys of royal criminals, practiced the local military forces, after Zhengde period, Fengyang guard eunuch grabbed the executive power of "Luzhou, Huaian, Yangzhou, Xuzhou, Chuzhou and Hezhou". Their influence on the Fengyang was two-sided, on the one hand, They relied on imperial household’s luck, grasped authority to harass the soldiers and civilians, produced a great negative effects; on the other hand, some of them had some positive effect on the local society.The power and influence of Fengyang guard eunuch was similar to the promotion and demotion of court’s eunuchs power and influence, their many actions on the local society could be regarded as a microcosm of eunuch’s interfering in politics in Ming dynasty.
