With the development of economic globalization and the process of globalintegration, the links between countries become increasingly closer. With the increasingeconomy and trade between countries, the culture exchange is also increasingly tight.Owing to differences between countries in language, translation has become anindispensable tool in modern society. With the continuous evolution and development oftranslation theory, a new translation way began to gradually appear in people’s job andlife, in daily life, we often find some words such as PM2.5, GDP, AIDS and WTO andthe like. These words come from the English vocabulary, without translated orabbreviated form of the letters is used directly in the Chinese context. For such foreignacronyms directly into Chinese’s phenomenon. The translation sphere called "zerotranslation."Zero translation will simplify the translation work, the distance between the sourcelanguage and the target language is shortened to zero, the source language vocabularyspeech sounds or font information directly diverted intothe target language, therefore, ithas a great difference among the traditional literal translation, meaning translation andother method. Let the audience based on their foreign language as a premise, enter intothe source language context to understand the original text, thereby omit the originaltext transformed into translated text what may caused defects or deviations, achievehigh-speed, accurate translation effect. China, however, appeared frequently,an increasenumber of "zero translation" gradually received attention who are translation sphere, cultural scholars and experts, on the "zero translation" words directly into the Chinesewill affect the degree of purity of the Chinese’s voice is getting higher and higher. In this paper, the subject investigated is people to "zero translation" phenomenon’slanguage attitude, I hope though this research to understand the specific attitude about"zero translation" phenomenon in our people, to understand our people "support" or"against" zero Translation phenomenon’s specific reason, and to discuss the "zero translation" attitude differences in different characteristics crowd. In order to achievethe above purpose, This people firstly carries on the investigation to the three existingcorpus, to different media using zero translation’s situation carries on comparativeanalysis. And then, common people of Hangzhou city as investigation object, to thepeople of zero translation phenomenon’s accepted attitudes carries on questionnaire, andto correct our country about zero translation’s incorrect understanding, rational guideand development of regulate Zero Translation’s behavior.Findings show that people in our society for the "zero translation" phenomenon hasa certain degree of awareness and acceptance, a large number of respondents believe thezero translation phenomenon can effectively promote the cross-lingual communication, improve communication efficiency and convenience. Therefore, we believe that thephenomenon of zero translation has promoted the integration of language and culture, improve their Chinese inclusiveness, inspire the audience study positivity and enhancethe quality function of people’s language, zero translation phenomenon isunderstandable by itself. When country is regulating and guiding zero translationbehavior, neither indulge the phenomenon of zero translation is rampant development, due to affecting the purity and integrity of the Chinese language, but also should not bestrictly prohibited zero translation phenomenon, this size-fits-cultural isolation doctrinepoint must will affect the progress and development of our Chinese culture.
