Language is not only a tool for human communication,but also a tool for the inheritance of national culture.With the development of social modernization and the promotion of Mandarin,the language transmission and use of many minority groups in China have encountered difficulties.Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is the main distribution area for the spread of Zhuang and Zhuang language,while Shanglin County,which was studied by the author,is known as the "home of Zhuang language." In order to fully understand the use of Zhuang language by the younger generation of Zhuang,this study investigated the use of Zhuang language by primary and middle school students in Dafeng Town,Shanglin County,Guangxi from the perspective of interpersonal communication,and explored the language attitude of Zhuang language of this group.The group's understanding of the Zhuang culture analyzes the reasons that influence the formation of its language attitude,and provides corresponding reference suggestions for the protection and inheritance of Zhuang language and Zhuang culture.This paper uses questionnaires,variant matching,and in-depth interviews to conduct research.Based on Lambert's language attitude theory,this paper divides the attitudes of primary and middle school students in Dafeng Town of Shanglin County into three levels: behavior,cognition and emotion.At the beginning of the thesis,the questionnaires were used to compare the use of Zhuang language among primary and middle school students in Dafeng Town,Shanglin County,and the use of Zhuang language by students of Zhuang nationality in Dafeng Town,Shanglin County was low.Then,the thesis explores the cognitive and emotional aspects of the language attitudes of Zhuang language in primary and middle school students in Dafeng Town,Shanglin County through the variant pairing method.It is found that primary and secondary school students have low awareness of Zhuang language and lack of sense of language belonging.The thesis further analyzes the formation factors of language attitudes used by primary and middle school students in Dafeng Town by using in-depth interviews.The study found that at the behavioral level,practicality weakly affects the use of Zhuang language;at the cognitive level,intergenerational communication and digital divide affect the language and cultural cognition of Zhuang primary and middle school students;on the emotional level,diverse cultural backgrounds affect The sense of belonging of Zhuang language.Finally,the thesis puts forward the importance of paying attention to theeducation and output of Zhuang language in schools and families in the three levels of language attitudes of primary and middle school students in Zhuang nationality in Dafeng Town;promoting the digital development of Zhuang language and Zhuang culture in cognition;Suggestions for further strengthening the protection of Zhuang language for the national identity of primary and secondary school students.
