Henan Province is located in the central and eastern part of our country, thetransitionzone of north-south and east-west regions. The terrain, landform, climate,environment diversity,provide good condition for the survival of human development.The number of Paleolithic sites in the area is rich and the various types, largespan,showing a different culture face.The study on Paleolithic cultural relics in the areais great significance to deeply understand the connotation and nature,and explorecommunication,communication between North and South of stone industry in differentera.This paper take the comprehensive research method,acomprehensive analysis fromthree aspects of Geology and geomorphology,environment,industry.he industrial typeof research as the main line, horizontal and vertical comparison of the age and theregion of two variables, in order to reveal the stage characteristics and evolution trendof different types of industry.The article is divided into the natural environmentand geological features,discovery and research history,research standards,culturalrelics research and analysis,and the surrounding ruins and problems,the six parts.First,the natural environment and geological features.It mainly introduce theclimate,landform and geological evolution of the Henan province.This area is locatedin the transition zone of the two and three step,and the East part is high other is low.Itis divided into the subtropical monsoon climate,and the north temperate continentalmonsoon climate by the Qinling Mountains and Huai River.The geological andgeomorphological formation began in Song Yang movement,forming in the Yanshanmovement, and perfecting in the Himalaya movement.Overall,the transitionalcharacteristics evident in Henan province,significant regional differences,the rich localsmall environmental systems,climate and diverse,providing good conditions for thesurvival of ancient human.Second,a brief history of the discovery and study.This section reviews the majorPaleolithic remains Brief History of discovery and research in Henan province for fiftyyears.It can be divided into three stage.First stage:the founding stage1950s to the1970s.Second stage:the initial development stage1980s to the1990s.The third stage:the rapid development stage since the1990s.The research methods in threestages showing a significant development of inheritance.Third,the research division of Standard.The main part of the current controversyfor some academic research on the stone typology,make their own criteria for theclassification,the overall contrast to facilitate research.Fourth,the cultural relics analysis and research.This part is the main part of thearticle,it can be divided into types of distribution and industrial type which contain twoparts with the study.The analysis shows that the Paleolithic sites can be divided intoopen and cave types.Its mainly distributed in Nanyang Basin,mountain basin of Yiriver and luo river,the western foothills of the mountains.There can be divided into fivekinds as flake tool industry and pebble tool industry and mixed industry and bladeindustry and microblade industry.They are not only independent but also closely.Fifth,the relationship with neighboring sites.It study on the relationship withneighboring sites from different eras terms of raw materials,technology,culture andtraditions, and the environment,to clarify its relationship with the surrounding ruinsdissemination and communication.Sixth,conclusion.The main part is summarizing conclusions.There are five typesof industries in the region,and its formation and development process,both influenceeach other.And adapting to local natural conditions at the time,while the integrationfactor from the south gravel industry, north small stone industry,industrial and finestone stone leaves leaf industry,forming a fusion obvious and self-containedcharacteristics.
