A Study On The Development Of Hui’s Cultural Industry In Henan Province

With the rapid development of economic globalization, the cultural patterns around the world haveundergone tremendous changes. While achieving a high degree of integration of culture and economy,cultural industries have had a profound impact on a country as well as its regions, which have increasinglyaroused widespread concern in the international community.The fine traditional culture of the Hui nationality is a treasure of the Chinese culture, and its culturalindustry is an important part of China’s cultural industry. The Hui culture in Henan has such a deep rootand thick accumulation that the development of Hui cultural industry enjoys not only a favorable andunique advantage, but also a sound and promising opportunity. Thus, to develop Hui cultural industry inHenan Province is of great significance to carry forward its excellent traditional culture, achieveharmonious ethnic relations, promote economic development in Henan province, and satisfy people’sincreasingly growing material and cultural needs.In this paper, the writer adopts such methods as SWOT analysis, literature research, and fieldsurvey to study the internal and external environment as well as the development strategies of Hui culturalindustries in Henan Province. This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is an introduction, giving a brief account of the research background and significance,academic research status, research methodology and research content.The second part is an overview of Hui cultural industries in Henan Province, bringing about adefinition of culture, Hui culture, cultural industry, and Hui cultural industry. This paper attempts toexpound the current situation of the development of Hui cultural industry in Henan province from suchthree aspects as the Islamic food industry, native costume industry, and the distinctive tourism. Besides, theauthor intends to summarize the characteristics of the development of Hui cultural industries in HenanProvince and further explore the great importance of the development of Hui cultural industry in HenanProvince.The third part primarily aims to analyze the development of Hui cultural industries by employingSWOT, i.e., from the development advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges to demonstrate the feasibility of the development of Hui cultural industries in Henan Province.The fourth part mainly reflects on the development path of Hui cultural industry in HenanProvince. Taking into account the problems waiting to be solved about the development of Hui culturalindustry in Henan province, the author intends to propose some suggestions and countermeasures topromote the development of Hui cultural industry in Henan Province.In summary, based on the relevant research documents and previous achievements, this paper triesto make an in-depth analysis into the current state of Hui cultural industry in Henan province, prove thefeasibility of the development of Hui cultural industry, and promote the development of Hui culturalindustry by maximizing its advantages and minimizing the disadvantages.
