Comparison Of Concept "Family" In Russian And Chinese Folktale

Folktale is a crystallization of national ideology and culture, is anencyclopedia of national life, which reflects the national understanding of theworld and their own. Therefore, the study of folktale could know about thenational world view, reveal the characteristics of national thinking. Family is animportant theme of folktales. From occurrence to the end stories are closelyaround the establishment of new families; the identity of family members and therelationship between the members also constitute the main folktales’ characters.This paper is based on Russian and Chinese folktale, study the characteristics ofthe two ethnic Russian and Chinese family values, and then find the two ethnicsimilarities and differences between the traditional concept of the family, andexplore both the Russian and Chinese peoples based on their religious ideologyand social system similarities and differences between ethnic roots of familyvalues.At first briefly introduces history and present situation of the research onfolktales and ideas. Describes the purpose, significance, research object, the mainsource of the theory and methods of research and so on; Then introduces thehistory of concept and definition of the concept of the idea, the concept ofanalysis, discusses the reasons for choosing folktales and family values; Thischapter bases on the texts of Russian folktale, respectively analyzes familystructure, responsibilities and rights of family members, relations among familymembers in folktales. Then summarizes the connotation of Russian folktale offamily values; Furthemore this chapter bases on Chinese folktale, respectivelyanalyzes family structure, responsibilities and rights of family members, relationsamong family members in folktales. Then summarizes the connotation of Chinesefolk tale of family values; finally on the basis of first four chapters explores thecultural roots of family valuesethnic in Russian and Chinese folktales, analysis social reality family picture of the similarities and differences of the twocommunities.In this paper, the idea of using the concept’s theory in the comparison ofconcept “Family” in Russian and Chinese folktales is the first attempt lay thefoundation for further comparison of Russian and Chinese folktale picture of thenatural and social landscape.
