The paper focuses on death theme of Sylvia Plath, and explores her death notion which her works express, and relation between body and scare. The reason that I choose to write the death theme is the importance of that. Most are about body, sex, crazy and scare in Plath’works which knit into a delicate dobby. The paper is divided into five parts which are introduction, chapter one to three, epilogue.Introduction describes experience of life and death of plath, and presents research status of Plath works and research significance of the paper. Body paragraphs of the paper analyse the death notion of Plath. She believes that the way to get real freedom and eternity is to die. She is mad about death.Meanwhile, she also loves life.We can say the reason she wants to die stems from desire for rebirth. The paper also interprets relation between body, scare and death. She is dissatisfied with woman body, and is scared with every aspect of world which is important reason she longs for death.Only dies can she own really free body, fear nothing, and realize her value accordingly.Plath’s view on death is too extreme. It is admired that she doesn’t fear death, but infatuating death is unwise. The world kisses me in pain, for singing by me in return. If we want to enjoy life,we should set up correct death notion.
