Research On Discourse Structure Of Chinese Crosstalk

Chinese crosstalk is original in Chinese common people.It is a kind oflanguage art which is very close to people.Its audiences are growing largerand larger from common people to the Chinese people all over the world.Research on the beginning of the crosstalk is about the languagecharacteristics.<Application on the language of Chinese crosstalk>written byJingshou Wang firstly pointed out the language of crosstalk has fivecharacteristics and four ways in making sense of humor,besides,three kinds ofhyperbole.After that,more and more people begin to study crosstalk around theprinciple of humor,rhetoric methods and some comedians personal style.This article is based on the study of discourse.Firstly we talk about thediscourse features.The communicative subjects of crosstalk are comediansand audiences.The communicative intention is entertainment.The languageenvironment of contemporary crosstalk is live stage.The discourse pattern isthe combination of talk and play.And then in the second part,we talk about thecore structure of crosstalk------"Suitcases"."Suitcases"are built on the basis ofpeople’s common cognitive psychology and insight of pragmaticpresupposition deviation in the deep text.In this article,the basic types of"Suitcases" can be summarized as four types,each of which has severalsubdivisions.At last,we try to figure out how to accomplish "Suitcases",whichmeans cohesion and coherence issues in the Chinese crosstalk.The discoursehas six ways to prepare for the Suitcase in lexical level,the functional level andthe phonological level.We also have some research about turn,which is veryimportant in dialogue.The theoretical basis of this essay are mainly pragmatics and systemicfunctional linguistics.We not only talk about the language style from theperspective of rhetoric,discussing the reasons of being humor from the perspective of cognition,but also digging out the "Suitcases" of Chinesecrosstalk and study its modes of formation.It is still rare in the academic circlesthat we treat and research crosstalk as a discourse.Chinese crosstalk is a combination of linguistic art and performing art witha content of comedy.The unite of linguistics and comedy suits both refined andpopular taste,giving rise to the consolidation of academic and entertainment.
