A Research On Ornamentations Of Painted Pottery Of Dadianzi Cemetery

Belonging to Xiajiadian Culture,Dadianzi Cemetery unearthed a largenumber of painted pottery. Currently, the research on the group ofartifacts and staging of the cemetery has made some progress, but alwaysas a part of research on the staging of Lower Xiajiadian Culture,lackingspecialized study. In addition to excavation report of DadianziCemetery,targeted study on ornamentation materials of painted pottery israre.Taking advantage of the published material, this article attemptsto clarify the pattern of typical artifacts.Then on this basis,this paper makes typological analysis on theornamentations of painted pottery,clarifies the developing venation andinterrelation of ornamentations,and proceeds study on relationshipbetween shape of ceramics and ornamentations,colorapplication,decoration motif and other related issues.Chapter I: IntroductionThis chapter generally introduces Dadianzi Cemetery,describesresearch status of unearthed painted pottery ornamentations of thecemetery so far, and point out the research methods and research targetsof this article.Chapter II: Typological analysis on typical artifacts and burialstagingThis chapter conducts typological analysis on typical artifacts ofDadianzi Cemetery,including Li, lat bottom tank, fake ring foot tank, Zun,Tripod, Gui, Jue, etc,and on the basis of which, clarifies the staging of typical burials.Chapter III: The type and evolution of ornamentationBeing Subject to typological analysis of pottery, this chapter makestypological analysis of ornamentations, divides it into three phases, andgeneralizes its evolution rules.Chapter IV: Issues RelatedFrom three aspects including the impact of type of ceramics onornamentations, color application and ornamentation motif,this chapterconducts further analysis on the meaning of ornamentations.Chapter V: ConclusionSummarize and generalize this article.
