Nie Yi-zhong And Poetry Research

As one of the important Late Tang poets writing the People’s weal and woe, the poetry of Nie Yi-zhong has produced important influence in the Tang Dynasty and later generations. Having a comprehensive and systematic exploration for Nie Yi-zhong’s life experience, poetry theme and art achievements, poetry ideological origins and its influence.This paper is divided into four parts to study Nie Yi-zhong and his poetry:Part One, on the basis of predecessors’research achievements and the history books recorded, make a detailed study and comparison on Nie Yi-zhong’s the years of birth and death, native place,works experience and friends. Nie Yi-zhong was born in BC825-830,and he died in the earlier stage of the Later Liang Dynasty, his native place is Yongji Hedong. Part Two, According to the background characteristics of Late Tang Dynasty, compared with the poems composed by other poets of the same age, give a comprehensively discussion mainly from the allegorical poems, sentimental poems and exhort the tripartite face Nie Yi-zhong’s poetry theme. Part Three, exploring the artistic achievements Nie Yi-zhong’s poetry, mainly influenced by the book of songs and the Yuefu and formed the straight narrative of the technique of portraying the characters, successing the metaphor and contrast methods of the book of Songs. And the simple and sincere language style. Part four, explore Nie Yi-zhong thoughts of poetry art inheritance and influence, this part mainly from three aspects to discuss, the first on the one hand, mainly analyzes Nie Yi-zhong poems in the book of songs, realistic spirit and artistic techniques of reference, in the second main Nie Yi-zhong poetry of five viewpoints about its study and reference, for inheriting and carrying forward the realism of the Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty Yuefu. The third aspect mainly discusses the Nie Yi-zhong’s accept and influence of poetry in the Late Tang Dynasty and later generations. combined with the comments of the generations poetic theorists， affirming the sincere artistic features of artistic characteristics, trying to objectively locate Nie Yi-zhong and his poetry.
