Homer’s Epic is a treasure for the world, created by ancientGreek, attracting generation after generation of people toconstantly probe and research. In Homeric age, the rigorouskingship which is established during Mycenaean Era no longerexisted and the Greek returned to the military democracy stage.Through the study on the activities of the military leader, theCouncil and the People’s Assembly in Homer’s Epic, this papermainly explores the operation of military democracy in Homer era.The paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text andepilogue. The introduction part mainly illustrates the subject’stheoretical significance and practical significance, the researchreview at home and abroad and the mentality and the innovationpoints.The text is divided into three parts: the first part focuses onthree Homeric military chiefs, Agamemnon, Hector, andOdysseus;the second part mainly elaborates the opening of the council, aswell as the relationship between the council and the military chief;the third part primarily discusses the convening of People’sAssembly and the relationship between People’s Assembly,military chief and the Council. Based on the operation of militarydemocracy in Homer’s Epic in Homeric Age, the paper has beenconducted as detailed as possible yet still needs further research.
