This paper was based on the realistic painting’s original import from Europe, expansion of manifestation mode and the long multivariate experience after inflow into China. By means of the cultural revolution period, seventy or eighty’s transition period, eighty-five art movement, ninety’s "new generation" and so on, after analyzing the representative artists and their works of the contemporary realistic painting, I deemed that the existence of the realistic painting in the contemporary China is rational. Indeed, the contemporary realistic painting creation is pluralistic, but no matter how variable the painting language is, the artist is always trying to explore the spirit of the realistic painting. After reviewing and summarizing the painting creation and study in the past three years, I divided my painting creation into two stages analyze and to explicate the following questions:why did I paint the physiques in my first stage? What’s the relevance between the physiques and realism? What’s the correlation between the art and the nature during the second stage? How did my painting works represent the realistic? The thinking on the above questions lead me to a final conclusion:the so-called contemporary realism is adding bran-new thinking and comprehension at the same of inheriting the tradition, thereby impacting one’s artistic practice. |
