"Extra-painting" is a borrowing of the definition mode of "Extra-printing" in the field of seal carving art.The idea of "printing from books" and "seeking seal from outside" was first put forward and put into practice by Deng Shiru in the middle of Qing Dynasty, which made the people engaged in seal-cutting artistic creation at that time have a powerful method of artistic creation besides "Taking Qin and Han Dynasty Seals as the Religion".Many Chinese painters who achieved extraordinary achievements in the past dynasties benefited either from the attainments of calligraphy or from the support of calligraphy. The reason why Chinese painting did not decline completely after Shi Tao was the rise of the Jinshi Calligraphy and Painting Movement, which supported the development of literati painting in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.Indian Jandara Buddhist art has been introduced into China since the Wei,Jin,Southern and Southern Dynasties. Its concave and convex painting method has been widely adopted by Chinese painters, and gradually combined with the painting techniques of Chinese painting characteristics. It became popular in the Tang Dynasty and was called "the aesthetics of light".Zen's view of natural art fully embodies two levels of Zen thought. One is the "true face" and the other is the "ordinary mind",while the other is the empty, insipid and distant Zen implication in the ink and wash landscape painting which is different from the literary painting system. In fact, the development of Chinese literary painting to our present,is the Chinese freehand painting, that is,now we call the Chinese freehand painting,is "literati painting".And "freehand" means the artist's rich experience of real life and the accumulation of creative experience.Meanwhile,it means the artist's emotional enlightenment of objects and images, and the artist's self-cultivation.
