A Study On The Multi Angie Constuction Of "X Home"

In modern spoken Chinese, there is such a high frequently use of the structure type of "X to home", here, "to home" is a constant term and "X" is a variable term. Due to the functional diversity, the structure type has a higher use value in the process of daily communication. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the interpretation of the structural type and its formation history. In this paper, we will start from the construction grammar, using the theory of vocabulary, grammar and so on grammar to explore its structure and historical formation. The main contents are as follows: In the first part of introduction, we will illustrate the research object and the origin of the topic in this article. Then we will review the previous related papers and theory research, and discuss the problems existing in the previous related papers research institute. Next, we illustrate the significance and innovation of this article, and clear about the research methods and the sources of corpus.The second part is the interpretation of the structural type of "X to home". First, we prove that the "X to home" structure type is a construction and its meaning is:the speaker thought some traits of the subject of a sentence achieve a high level. It is a subjective review that the speaker to the high quantity of the subject character level. "X to home" is consist of constant term and variable term. Then, we discussed the "home" and its characteristics."To" has many meanings, and the structural type "to" is a word formation of composition and "home" as a whole. In modern Chinese the "home" has three meanings from the grammatical perspective, namely:as the above object group "home1", as the adjective "home2", as only the adverb "hom3". There are two meanings from semantic perspective. The first layer said "spatial displacement". That is the "home1". The second layer is "to some content", the "home2" is said the object to reach harmony degree; "Homes" is said the object reaches the limitation. The constructional meaning of "X to home" requires the mode has the second layer meaning and third layer meaning to enter the mode. Finally, we explore the selection condition that "X to home" type to variable term "X".The third part is the origin of the variable term "to home". First, we will analyze the competition process for "to home" and "go home" by ancient Chinese corpora. The "go home" have appeared before the using of "to home". Their competition has experienced three periods:the prevailing period of "go home", the parallel use period of "to home" and "go home", the leading period of "to home" and the reason about those changes. Then we discussed the lexicalization process of "getting home 1" to "to home2" from grammar conditions, syntactic environment and social environment. Finally, we will discuss the grammaticalization process and mechanism of "to home4" to "to home4".The fourth part is the formation of "X to home". The formation of the "X to home" is a historical process. We will collect the Buddhism corpus and find that the "V to home" first appeared in Ming dynasty, "N to home" appeared in Qing dynasty. In the late Qing period, "A to home" corpus begin to appear.
