Sadness, avoidance behavior are important factors for individuals’social adaptability, the most commonly used strategies are cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression. Acceptance, as a emotional regulation strategy emerging in recent years, has played a positive role in the treatment of certain mental disease, its impact on sadness and avoidance behavior should not be neglected. Many scholars studied the cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression, which mainly focus on two aspects:how much effect about lowing sadness for cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression, respectively; which kind of effect do cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression to the avoidance behavior,.But they all have many insufficiencies, defective approaches, lead to inaccurate conclusions, or rarely considered the effect of the sadness and avoidance behavior for the important factor acceptance. In view of these, this paper take a empirical research approach to improve the above shortcomings, specially discuss the effects to sadness and avoidance behavior for acceptance, cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression. At present, there is little empirical research to explore how acceptance impact negative emotional experience and avoidance behavior. To compare acceptance.cognitive reappraisal, expression suppression on negative emotion experience and avoidance behavior directly. In previous studies of four admission policy article. Hays (1996) used a survey method. Eifert & Heffner (2003), Levitt, Brown, Orsillo & Barlow (2004), Campbell-Sills (2006), Hofinann (2009) of 3 studies are discussed individual anxiety, and are not set in the study design of control group, so the conclusion is inconsistent. Unlike the past survey, the present research is empirical study, using the survey method, experimental method, setting the control group in the experiment, and strictly control a variety of additional variables to ensure that the scientific research. At the same time this study was to investigate the sadness, the reason of investigating sadness is because of sadness as one of the four basic human emotions in life.
