This paper mainly uses the method of combining theory and examples, does the analysis and explanation of exhaustive of the relevant data, at the same time, according to the discourse analysis and pragmatics related works and theory, we analyse " bu shuo" in the specific discourse features and functions."bu shuo" has become a common word in modern Chinese, it often appears in the use of language, this article collect "bu shuo" through the present some of the contemporary famous novels, at the same time through the important journals, magazines and newspapers,trying to do a detailed and comprehensive analysis of "bu shuo".The full text is divided into six chapters, four chapters, introduction and conclusion of each chapter.The first chapter Introduction. With the development of text linguistics,the text analysis of Chinese corpus is becoming more and more important, this paper takes the modern Chinese "bu shuo" as an example, to do a comprehensive analysis of "bu shuo" about the discourse function and pragmatic function, at the same time, summing up the previous research results of the "bu shuo",one of the biggest innovation of this paper is:putting "bu shuo" on the specific discourse, to study from the semantic,semantic features and usage. To do a comprehensive exposition of the research methods and the source corpus.The second chapter pattern and grammaticalization of "bu shuo". Based on corpus analysis and statistics of "bu shuo", we think, there are three kinds of different parts of speech and usage of "bu shuo",namely:"bu shuo1" as the shape of phrase structure;"bu shuo2" as a conjunction;"bu shuo3" as a discourse marker"". The three kinds of usage can be distinguished from two aspects, whether can be the part of sentence and the degree of grammaticalization.It is a grammar development process of "bu shuo1","bu shuO2" and "bu shuo3", at the same time it is the process of interaction of semantics, syntax and pragmatics.The second chapter of this paper makes a quantitative analysis according to the compliance with the conditions of the corpus,the statistical results are as follows:The third chapter the text analysis of "bu shuo1"."Bu shuo2n" as a verb complement structure represents the real meaning in discourse, it can be connected with word,non subject predicate phrases and subject predicate phrase, often with the use of "what also don’t say," can not be said".The semantic content of "bu shuo1" in a text can be analyzed from the following three aspects:from the negative behaviour to express negative meaning, it can strengthen the imperative sentence, it has the implied meaning in the particular context, we can analyse according to the theory of conversational implicature.The fourth chapter the text analysis of "bu shuo2".The semantic relations of sentences express in "bu shuo2" is the progressive relationship,in which the progressive relationship also implies a parallel relationship, concession, causality, coherence relations.We call semantic item where "bu shuo2" is the "base point"(B),the partial semantic later called "progressive point"(C),semantic background discourse is called A.In the specific context,"progressive point" is the based on "base point"for further instructions, and its semantic category and semantic classification is divided into:the number of categories, category of the degree category and scope.The basic semantic structure of "bu shuo2":because of A, so B+C. We analyse from the pragmatic function.The sentences of "bu shuo2" are mainly used for subjective expression,to manifest the relationship, to introduce of known information and highlight the new information.In the text, the features of "bu shuo" are:multi-level and diversity,the chapter mainly used to illustrate the trading intentions and supplement.The fourth chapter the text analysis of "bu shuo3".Through the analysis of "bu shuo3" corpus, we find that "bu shuo3" is used with other words and used as a discourse marker,such as "the other","not that far away","the other said", the existence of semantic does not interfere with truth or false of the meaning of a sentence, or without grammar, we call "bu shuo3" as a discourse marker,In the text,"bu shuo3" can appear in the dialogue and non dialogue,the basic semantic structural patterns of "bu shuo3":(because of) S1+(so) DM (nothing)+S2. S1is the whole discourse background,"bu shuo3" start new range and open a new topic of S2, S1and S2have to undertake the topic,"bu shuo3" is confirmed and extended, on the structure of the chapter, it has a connecting role.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.
