| Discourse marker is a phenomenon commonly seen in oral communication.Taking the discourse marker "hua shuo hui lai"as its studying target and former researches as its basis,this thesis carries out a comprehensive study on "hua shuo hui lai"from the perspectives of form,syntax,pragmatics,etc.The structure of the thesis is as follows.Chapter 1 is the introduction,in which we present the literature review and the research overview of this paper and introduce the research methods and data source of this paper.Chapter 2 is about the forms and syntax of "hua shuo hui lai"in which we analyze the characteristics of the forms and syntax of "hua shuo hui lai".Chapter 3 is the combination of "hua shuo hui lai"with linking words.In this chapter we analyze the combination of "hua shuo hui lai"with single linking words and paired linking words and give the possible reasons.Chapter 4 is the pragmatic functions of "hua shuo hui lai".its pragmatic functions include discourse function and modal function.Its discourse functions comprise supplement,transition,deduction,summarizing,changing the subject and slowing the communication speed.Its modal functions are analyzed from subjectivity and intersubjectivity.Chapter 5 is the development of "hua shuo hui lai".According to this study,it develops from idiomizationto cognitive parenthesis,and finally tokenizing.Chapter 6 is the conclusion.In this chapter we mainly make a summary of this study and point out the limitations of it. |
