Edvard Grieg is one of the most famous Norwegian folk music composer in19th century,he was to carry forward the national spirit, to follow national traditions, and to learn the essenceof music from folk. His works contain rich nation Norway style, so that he is a veritable "ethnicmusicians". Grieg’s music style had an important role in the development of music in the20thcentury, and had some influences for Debussy, Ravel and other composers in the creation of theconcept of harmony, at the same time, it promoted the development of impressionist music. Thee minor piano sonata was Grieg’s only one piano sonatas, four different style of music, there arepassionate style, there are also mildly lyrical style, folk music elements in each movement has aprofound expression. From the "Grieg Piano Sonata e minor" in the spectrum of cases analyzedby the melody, modal tonality, harmony, rhythm of these four areas to explore, analysis whichdemonstrated the Norwegian nationalist musical style characteristics, combined with hisexperience playing and listening, watching a lot of audio-visual materials on the " Grieg PianoSonata e minor " playing skills and playing experience of inquiry. By analyzing these pianosonatas of national identity as well as musical skills, so that we understand the musical stylecharacteristic of the Nordic folk music of the19th century, is great significance to studycharacteristics of Norwegian folk music.This paper consists of three parts. The first part, describing the impact of Grieg’s life andcreative background, musical style features as well as other composers brought him. Summarizethe total national feature the works of Grieg’s music has a source and the formation of thissection also discusses the purpose of research in this sonata, significance, research status quo athome and abroad. The second part,"Grieg Piano Sonata e minor" in the melody, modal tonality,harmony, rhythm, interpretation of these four aspects of the national character, and the spectrumof cases were cited. Through the spectrum of cases in detail, so that we understand the Griegpiano sonatas in this Norwegian national identity is very rich, it is worth us to explore and study.The third part, introduces the "Grieg Sonata in e minor" four movements of playing techniques,combined with the corresponding spectrum of cases are discussed, combined with his experienceplaying these sonatas and watching and listening to the pianist of this sonata playing. Summedup his playing experience, respectively, from changes in speed, strength, and control touch keys, sound processing and the use of pedals to make the interpretation and summary.Through the above analysis, so that we deeply appreciate the Nordic Norwegian folkmusic of charm, music content image and rich, music theme bold and new, Norwegian musicstyle rich and distinctive creative ideas, has a high performance value, worth we went slowly,study, experience thin.
