"Modern Chinese Dictionary" is one of the important topics in thevocabulary study. This thesis mainly selects sixth new words version of the "modernChinese Dictionary", as a research perspective, through the perspective of vocabularystudy of changes in recent years, and some of these problems are analyzed. In thispaper, the author uses the method of statistics, sixth edition of "modern ChineseDictionary"(new words and expressions compared with the fifth version of "modernChinese Dictionary" in the entry) for statistical analysis, according to data from thechange of word length, part of speech and linguistic point of view, to explore thechanges of root cause analysis. Secondly, according to the more than3200new wordssummed up the research data, from the macro to study the origin, characteristics, wayof word formation, word collection principles of law. A deep analysis of the angle, sothat we more deeply understand the whole law system, the sixth edition of the"modern Chinese Dictionary" is the new increase the entry, find the development andchanges of the society understanding of the language the impact and influence. In thelast part of this paper, mainly discusses the problem in two aspects, one is the recentnew word format should be entered the lexicon, how to input the problem; two is thediscussion on language purity problem caused by the letter of the word problem, inthis thesis, the author thinks that the essence of language it is a tool of communication,language is not pure, the most vigorous language should be inclusive language, drawlessons from other ethnic groups to enhance their language expression ability oflanguage can be the most durable, most widely spread.
