The present study is aimed at investigating Arabic majors’ writing strategies use and its relationship to writing achievements, as well as whether they were writing strategy training to improve their writing performance by analyzing the writing strategies questionnaire and writing achievements of 110 students who are study in Northwest University for Nationalities.Through domestic foreign scholars on the status of research on learning and writing strategy review, the author presents the theoretical framework of the study, including theories of second language acquisition, learning strategies, process writing approach, writing strategies. on this basis, author draw up this study related to Arabic writing strategies and specific classification. This research tools including questionnaire and interview and composition test. The questionnaire are mainly used to understand the use of the subject in Arabic writing strategy, the questionnaire results are analyzed and discussed. Then, in order to, collect more comprehensive causes for writing strategies of students, interviews with Arabic professional 20 students and 2 teachers.By analyzing the results of questionnaires and interviews, for the use of the Arabic writing strategies in this school’s students have further understanding. The data analysis revealed that in Arabic writing process students use almost all writing strategies, but the use frequency of each strategy has great individual differences. Which most commonly used is Pre-writing examines strategy and in the writing of recite imitated strategy, using minimal is outline strategy in Arabic and Modify strategy and rewrite strategy. The findings also show that writing high and low scores on the use of writing strategies are different, high scores use the design strategy and Modify strategy, while low scores are mostly with mother-tongue strategy.According to the above analysis, the author selected two classes of students for a period of 20 weeks of Arabic writing strategy experiment. The results show that writing strategy trainings for Arabic students is effective and feasible, Arabic writing strategies training can improve their writing scores.Finally, the dissertation analyzes the problems of Arabic writing, and put forward some suggestions to solve these problems from both teachers and students.
