The Analysis Of C-E Translation Of Culture-loaded Internet Buzzwords From The Perspective Of The Readers’ Response

Internet Buzzwords, along with thriving and enduring vitality as well as significant influence, are derived from the communication media-Internet. In order to make successful culture exchange among different countries, more and more scholars devote themselves to the research of Internet Buzzwords and their translations.This paper, with literature and information research method, is based on the theory of the Readers’ Response. On the ground of the linguistic data of Internet Buzzwords collected from China Daily, Baidu, Google, Microblog and WeChat, this paper, taking cultural element into consideration at the same time, aims at studying various problems and translation strategies in translating the Internet Buzzwords. Moreover, the research has found that Internet of different countries conveys different cultural messages, which is just like a strong magnetic field attracting scholars to explore them. The Internet Buzzwords, with their various cultural connotations, are intimately connected with people’s daily life. On the other hand, the Readers’ Response shows that the translator should center on the reader’s response during the translation process of numerous works, therefore, the readers’ cultural background must be taken into account in order to get the true meaning of the original texts. Generally speaking, the translation of Internet Buzzwords is the translation of Chinese culture, that is, the translation between Chinese and western culture. In summary, the paper tries to study the C-E translation of Internet Buzzwords so as to lead the foreign readers to further understand the new development trend of Chinese language and make some contributions in promoting the cultural exchange between China and foreign countries. This study has its translation theory significance and practical value.
